Dogs

Zuko came to us from a local friend who contacted us because their dogs were fighting, and it was putting Zuko, and their other dogs, into a dangerous situation. Especially considering the fact that literally the day before this call, we saw a coyote at the top of the property, this rescue opportunity came at a perfect time. So we of course took him in immediately. Today, Zuko lives to protect his herd. Even just a few small songbirds on the property will set him off and cause him to run off across the property. We love this boy so much.

Phoenix came from a local Animal shelter. She had been found wandering around Loudon, and whenever she was posted as available for adoption the same person that Zuko came from tagged Leslie in the post on Facebook. So, Leslie went to pick her up and she has been living peacefully on the sanctuary ever since!

Leslie's sister was fostering Bear and his sister in Florida, where they had been planned to be euthanized at the shelter because he and his sister had ringworm. Leslie's sis couldn't let that happen, and Bear and his sister were eventually placed at separate forever homes, with bear ending up with Leslie at 4Them Sanctuary. Bear will be turning 12 years old in October 2022

Blaze was rescued by Leslie's daughter in Murfreesboro, where he had been abandoned at a dorm. She brought him home with her to East Tennessee, where he has lived happily with Leslie for 8 years. 

Skylar was rescued from a shelter in Murfreesboro, also by Leslie's daughter while she was in college. She brought Blaze, Skylar, and Zoey, the cat, home with her in 2014. They have all lived with Leslie since then.
